New Roots provides 6–8 months of intentional support, with the possibility of extending assistance when necessary.
Our goal isn't simply to help a family survive their return. It's to help them build a sustainable future.
STABILITY — Help with immediate needs, housing, food, and establishing a safe environment for the family.
EMOTIONAL SUPPORT — Counseling and compassionate care as families process the trauma and challenges surrounding deportation and starting over.
EMPLOYMENT & INCOME — Job training, coaching, and assistance identifying realistic pathways toward sustainable employment.
FINANCIAL GUIDANCE — Helping families understand their financial situation, establish goals, and develop a plan for stability.
LEGAL & PROFESSIONAL SUPPORT — Connecting families with appropriate professional resources when legal or specialized assistance is needed.
SPIRITUAL CARE — Offering hope, prayer, and the assurance that they don't have to walk through this transition alone.

1. WE MEET THE FAMILY — A home visit allows us to understand their immediate circumstances and needs.
2. WE BUILD A PLAN — Together, we identify goals for housing, employment, finances, family well-being, and long-term stability.
3. WE WALK WITH THEM — Through counselling, coaching, job training, practical assistance, and ongoing support, families begin rebuilding.
4. THEY BUILD THEIR NEW ROOTS — The ultimate goal is for each family to become stable, independent, and equipped to move forward.
